Users gave their feedback on Base & Bonus Pay Policies
Findings Base Pay Salaried
Overall feedback was good though some elements brought confusion to users including the following elements:
Findings "View Eligible Workers"
Users were unsure what they would see here (spreadsheet, pdf etc.) and further wondered what value this would provide when thinking about seeing 300 plus workers in this format.
Findings "Salaried Workers"
Users were overall a little confused about the language here of both the "If salaried workers are...." and the "Flat vs. Annually" - help text was suggested by almost all users in Chicago.
Findings "Other Settings"
Users were confused by "Flag this Item"
- Where will the flag appear?
- If they are salaried, why would their pay deviate? (Audience Specific)
Findings "Base Pay Non-Salaried"
Users stated in both Atlanta and Chicago that "Standard Hours" is a foreign concept when thinking about hourly workers. They related that they are dependent on Time & Attendance or other system for this data. They don't "automatically" pay for hourly.
Chicago users could not imagine any scenario where "daily" workers would qualify for benefits.
Findings "Look & Feel"
Users indicated a slight preference for white background as shown on the Base Pay vs. the 401K grey. Overall users did not see the look and feel as "NextGen" or innovative. Instead they described as "about what I expect from ADP".
