How clear is the input driven
sequencing?
On a scale from 1 to 5 where a 1 means not at all clear and 5 means completely clear, how would you rate PiCode's use of Input Driven Sequencing?
PiCode consists of the many rules required to calculate payroll. Payroll is run for every employee in a company, but because employees all have different payroll options and values (such as their salary and how much they’re contributing to their 401k), not every rule applies to every employee. Due to this, PiCode rules run based on inputs; if the input for a specific rule is available, a rule will run. If they aren’t, the rule will be passed and not affect the payroll run. This is what “input-driven sequencing” means. Example: Employee A’s base pay is based on a regular pay rate and their time worked. Employee B’s base pay is based on a special rate and their time worked. When the following two rules are run, it will work for both employees. |
