Background & Purpose
Having previously conducted 2 rounds of qualitative research with both internal ADP and external developers the PiCode team sought to validate & quantify those findings with a larger sample of external developers and those supporting development teams (BAs & QAs)
- A sample of online participants (N=200) all external to ADP participated in the survey from January 16th- January 21st
- The sample was balanced on the following characteristics:
- Gender, education, diverse geography (US only)
- Years of programming experience, and languages used
- Knowledge of payroll
Areas of Validation & Quantification
Mirroring the qualitative sessions the PiCode team sought to validate and quantify the following areas via the survey:
- Preferred Data Dictionary
- Clarity of input driven sequencing
- Naming options for Pay Rate
- Color coding treatment
- Acceptance of Natural Language
- Preference for PiCode 1.1 vs. PiCode 2.0
- Perception of how easily they could be trained to be a PiCode Developer
- Importance of training elements
- Perception of their willingness to work as a PiCode Developer
